About Facilitating by Design
Carol Delisi, Chief Learning Consultant and owner, has helped hundreds of people in dozens of companies improve their job performance.
Carol has facilitated learning experiences for hundreds of adults in dozens of different companies, helping them build their knowledge and skills in a variety of topics including people management, facilitation, adult learning, customer service, selling, software programs, new products and services, teamwork, coaching, career development and communication.
She specializes in designing and delivering interactive training programs that use learners' experiences, which improves engagement, retention of learning and ultimately performance on the job. Much of her work in the last decade has focused on managers, helping them make the transition from being responsible for only their own work to contributing through others.
Carol has developed hundreds of job descriptions for a variety of roles in different businesses, worked as a project manager for large, global learning projects and developed documentation that sets expectations for employees and helps them be successful in their work.
Carol has a B.A. in Communication from The Ohio State University. She is certified to facilitate Development Dimensions International (DDI) workshops.
Facilitating by Design has over 20 years of experience with:

- working with managers to develop their teams' skills
- creating behavioral-based job descriptions, competencies and work process documentation
